Everyone pays attention to March Madness and the Final Four. Everyone watches the bowl games and the BCS National Championship game. But I can't tell you the College World Series champion from any given year... and I actually like baseball!

Football and basketball were both originally popular as collegiate sports before the professional leagues took shape. So there's some very strong traditions in the NCAA for those two sports, and much of that tradition has carried over even to 2007. Also, and perhaps more importantly, the very best baseball players skipcollegeand go to the minors straight out of high school to formally train themselves for the majors. In contrast, lacking a true minor league the NFL and NBA have usedcollegeas their minor leagues. Hence, the very best will usually play at the collegiate level. Note thatcollegebasketball was suffering between 1996-2005 outside March Madness itself in large part because many players were skipping straight to the pros, even though it was only a handful of them.

becuase so many baseball players sign right out of high school instead of going to college...so many of the premier players are not in college.....at least that is my excuse and i am sticking to it!
it's the most boring game next to golf
I even like watching tennis more than base ball
baseball games take so damn long. they are extremely boring to watch. i like to play and watch the game live, but as for sitting and watching it....it's right up there with golf.
because theres so many more teams and if u actually new what baseball was (speaking to the other comment) its actually not boring its very entertaining and if you understand it you're supposed to be moving every play and u prolly tried it and sucked at it
